We pioneered Endovascular photodynamic therapy (EVPDT) of tumors , and the core tumors are photodynamic tumor apparatus and special surgical optical fiber for vascular tumors. At present, we are applying for PMA at FDA. This innovative EVPDT therapy was guided by CT or X-ray C-arm, percutaneous arterial puncture was performed by Seldinger method, catheter sheath was inserted by short guide wire, and the catheter was selectively inserted into the tumor supplying artery and then arteriography was performed to understand the distribution of the supplying artery and tumor vessels. The surgical fiber is inserted into the internal blood vessel of the tumor through the catheter, and the laser with certain power and specific wavelength is transmitted to the internal blood vessel of the tumor by surgical fiber through the blood vessel. When the photosensitive drug injected into the internal blood vessel of the tumor is exposed to the laser of specific wavelength, the photosensitive drug is excited, which promotes the photochemical reaction of oxygen in the blood vessel, thus producing a monomer oxygen. Eventually destroying blood vessels and the tumor cells that surround them.
